BA Sociology aims to help students develop relevant skills for lifelong learning and occupational flexibility that will eventually place them at a more competitive advantage.
Furthermore, the program is geared towards a range of knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes that will reflect greater learning and teaching ability and ensures that students are able to conduct sociological research enhanced by other social science disciplines.
Career Opportunities
The BA Sociology Curriculum is geared towards producing graduates who shall be:
- Participating in interdisciplinary social research
- Pursuing a career in the academe, research institution, or any organization that requires the production, interpretation, and application of knowledge generated from social science research
- Pursuing graduate studies in Sociology and related fields; and
- Upholding the University’s values of honor and excellence for nation-building and the advancement of the welfare of the Filipino people.
