UPLB Sociology Society

history

The UPLB Sociology Society is the first and oldest academic organization for Sociology majors in the University of the Philippines Los Baños, which is bounded by the principles of allegiance, pride through tradition, and excellence since its establishment in 1975.

With four decades of excellence and consistency to boast, the organization has unceasingly upheld and stayed true to the values it was built upon, that of being critical, dynamic, and holistic. Its legacy continues through the commitment of its resident members and those who will soon take on their footsteps.

The UPLB Sociology Society is in pursuit of achieving its organizational goals without sacrificing the group’s collective welfare, by maximizing the holistic capabilities of its individual members.
