Dr. Patrick Alain Tejero Azanza

Dr. Patrick Alain Tejero Azanza received his College Distinguished Alumni Award in 1996, a few years after earning his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 1990. Dr. Azanza was the chief operations officer of Eclaro Business Solutions, Inc., and the incumbent University president of Catanduanes State University.
Ms. Mina V. Cabugao-Ballesteros
Distinguished BA/MA Sociology Alumni
Ms. Mina V. Cabugao-Ballesteros obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 1987. She received two awards from the UPLB Alumni Association in 2018: The Outstanding UPLB Alumni Award and the College Distinguished Award. She was also awarded the Regional Bayaning Pilipino Gawad Geny Lopez in 2014. Ms. Cabugao-Ballesteros is currently an executive director at Gelacio I. Yason Foundation – Family Farm School, Inc., a non-profit alternative secondary school that aims to reduce poverty and promote sustainable community development through education.
Fmr. Rep. Teodoro Alberto A. Casiño

Teodoro Alberto A. Casiño, commonly known as “Teddy” Casiño,” is a social activist, a former member of the House of Representatives, and the current Vice President of Makabayan Coalition. He graduated from UPLB in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. He then received the College Distinguished Alumni Award from the UPLB Alumni Association in 2002.
